Terms and Conditions 

WHEN HIRING WITH DAYOUT.DRESSHIRE YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE BREACHED AT ANY POINT IN TIME, YOUR BOND MAY NOT BE REFUNDED AND A BAN FROM HIRING WITH US MAY OCCUR.

TRY ONS

When coming for your try on, please be mindful of our garments. Please DO NOT wear wet fake tan, and be careful of jewellery. If anything happens to one of the garments in your try on please let us know straight away. Our try ons are free, however if you do need to cancel it is common curtesy to let us know at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. We understand things come up, however if you could let us know asap if a cancellation is needed. 

PLEASE be on time. You may be here 5 minutes early, however anything over 15 minutes late will be cancelled (unless spoken to prior and an agreement has been put in place for a later time). 

You may bring another person with you. However, as our space is not overly massive, we ask that a maximum of 3 people are allowed in our space at a time. 

Appointments are strictly 1 hour long, if you require more time please book more then one time slot. 

REFUNDS AND RETURNS 

Once a garment has been paid for, we do not offer returns for a change of mind, event cancellation, sizing issues, etc. If you wish to swap your piece, you may do so if garment is available, however an additional hire fee may be charged depending on cost of updated garment. There will however be no refunds on exchanges. 

We guarantee pickup in Freeling with a notice of 5 business days. For hires within 5 days, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. If we are unable to deliver the dress to Freeling within this timeframe and you have already paid for it, we will provide a store credit. Please note that refunds will not be issued. You are more than welcome to come to Hewett for pickup or find an alternative method that suits you.

LOCAL RETURNS (please scroll for postage returns) 

ALL hires MUST be returned 2 days after your chosen event date. As an example, if your hire was for a Saturday night, you must return the garment no later than the Monday. For postage hires, your garment must be lodged with Australia Post no later then 4PM on the Monday. If you cannot get to the post office, you must find someone to do this for you. 

Failure to return back to dayout.dresshire or lodge with Aus post within the agreed rental period will result in a $20 late fee. This will be taken out of your bond and will continue by $20 each day until the garment is returned. A ban from hiring may occur. 

CLEANING

We expect that the garment you hire is treated with care and you will be mindful when wearing makeup, fake tan, jewellery, etc. 

All hires are to be returned unwashed. Cleaning costs are included in your hire price. This covers light markings, however any major marks/spills may incur an additional cleaning fee. If a garment cannot be restored to its original condition, you will be required to pay the FULL RRP. 

BONDS 

  • A $20 bond is required for all bookings under $60.
  • A $30 bond is required for all bookings $60 - $100 
  • A $50 bond is required for all bookings over $100

This bond is non-refundable once transferred and your booking will not be secured without us receiving this security bond or the full hire payment. We do not hold items without payment.

The security bond will be sent back to you once your garment has been returned from cleaning in the same condition it was hired in. 

SHIPPING

We offer Australia Wide postage for an additional charge. A tracking number will be sent once we have posted your garment. 

We always make sure to express post your garments prior to the hire period. We trust that you have provided us with a safe address that is not at risk of the parcel being stolen or misplaced. 

Your parcel will always be posted on the Tuesday before your event (if in stock and not ordered the week of) and a tracking number will be uploaded to your order. All postal hires are at your own risk - by choosing the postage option you acknowledge that there can be unexpected delays with the Australia post service. 

By accepting these terms and conditions, you are accepting that there is a risk of postage delays and dayout.dresshire will not be held responsible for any delays once the parcel has been lodged at the post office. We do not offer refunds or store credit for Australia Post delays. 

By accepting these terms and conditions, you are also accepting that if the garment you have chosen doesn’t fit you will not be given a refund .

POSTAGE RETURNS

When returning a postal hire, It is the hirer’s responsibility to purchase a return bag and lodge the return with Australia post. There will not be a bag supplied for you to return your hire. You will need to lodge your hire OVER THE COUNTER and provide a tracking number. Do not under any circumstances put your return in a red post box.

If any of these terms are breached and a future hire must be cancelled as a result, you will be responsible for covering the full hire price of the cancelled booking. Your bond may also be applied as a late fee, depending on the number of days the item is overdue. This will be determined based on the circumstances and discussed between BelleHire and the hirer. In some cases, an additional fee may be charged to cover the cost of return shipping to ensure the next hirer receives their item on time.

All returning garments must be express posted over the counter no later then 4PM Monday for weekend hires or the next day for weekday hires. Failure to return/lodge with Australia Post within the agreed rental period will result in a $20 Late Fee. This will be taken out of your security bond and will then continue by $20 per day until the garment is returned. 

WE ASK THAT...

Lastly, we please ask if you do spill, damage or stain our garments that you do tell us immediately. We completely understand that accidents happen however telling us as soon as possible is crucial in preventing permanent damage to the garment. In extreme cases, we are aware that a garment may be damaged beyond repair. In this case it is incredibly important that you are understanding and assist us with all requested information and costs to replace the garment.
